Ladera Ranch Playground Renovation Projects: New Playcraft Playground Equipment, Arch Swings, and much more Installed at Two Parks in Ladera Ranch, CA by Pacific Play Systems, Inc.
Commercial playground equipment company, Pacific Play Systems, has just completed Ladera Ranch playground renovation projects at two Orange County park sites. The San Diego based playground industry leader’s full renovation of two parks in Ladera Ranch, CA was completed just days ago. With aging, existing equipment at both Poets’ and Eton’s parks, the Ladera Ranch Community decided it was time to upgrade their playgrounds, choosing the state-of-the-art Playcraft line of commercial playground equipment distributed by Pacific Play Systems, Inc. For each location, Pacific Play custom designed a layout that would provide the highest level of safety in addition to providing a challenging and feature-packed play system for children to enjoy. Both of the new Playcraft playgrounds were designed for children in the 5-12 age group and contain pleasing nature-inspired color schemes, allowing the new play areas to blend harmoniously into the attractive soCal Ladera Ranch neighborhood which already boasts plenty of eye-catching greenery!
Both park’s new playgrounds are sure to be packed with eager children in the first few weeks after opening as both sites are jam-packed with exciting features for endless play opportunities. The playground at Eton’s park, one of Pacific Play’s Hybrid Revolution line of Playcraft structures, contains a strong emphasis on challenging activities that are great for building strength, endurance, coordination, and agility among older children, such as with various types of challenging climbers. The Eton site also contains multiple six-foot-tall slides, freestanding activities including the ever-popular Tri-Spring Fling and two complementary multi-colored Shade Sail Canopies for plenty of sun and heat protection. Two new Arch Swing sets were included in this design as well. The new playground at Poets’ Park has also been expertly designed to contain an abundance of children’s favorite Playcraft play activities. This location sports the exciting high-flying Track Ride, a Freeform and Disc Climber, Spiral and Dual Express slides, and a six’ tall Bedrock Climber, among many other activities! As with Eton’s Park, two new Arch Swing sets were also provided at the Poets’ Park location.
As a part of the renovation at these two sites, in addition to furnishing and installing the new playground equipment and swings, Pacific Play Systems also completed a variety of site work and related services. The project included demolition, hauling, and disposal of the existing playground equipment, swing sets, and freestanding components at each site. Pacific Play also removed both parks’ older, existing poured-in-place rubberized surfacing, removing just over 3,200 square feet of this material between the two sites. Pacific Play Systems also supplied and installed new three and a half inch thick poured-in-place rubberized surfacing at both sites, totaling 3,400 square feet of new rubberized surfacing, with the addition of fifty tons of new Pro Tour Sand between the two parks, creating an attractive and artfully designed combination of sand and rubberized surfacing.
