Pacific Play Systems builds a community build playground with the Los Angeles Rams
Pacific Play Systems, Inc. and Playcraft Systems are proud to have teamed up with the Los Angeles Rams to complete a community build playground project for a great cause. The players, mostly rookies, along with the cheerleaders and the front office staff of the Rams all participated in the community build project. Pacific Play Systems’ Playcraft factory certified installers, American Park Specialties and Perpetual Parks and Playgrounds participated in the community build playground installation and took the lead in working with the NFL players and staff to erect the new play structure in one day. The players and staff worked late in the day until the playground was completed. “It’s always fun to help out the community,” says new quarterback Jared Goff. “We have a lot of guys doing a lot of things right now; we’re getting some good work done here on the playground.”
As part of the Ram’s strong commitment to community service, each year the team donates a brand-new playground to a local community in need, with the team’s players and front office staff coming together to physically build the playground. Just yesterday, the Rams, working with Pacific Play’s installation team, banded together to build a new Playcraft playground at Woodworth Elementary School located in Inglewood, California. Woodworth’s awesome new playground was custom-designed by Pacific Play Systems to feature a wide variety of innovative and challenging playground components to provide countless hours of fun and activity. Aside from the new play equipment for this community build playground, recycled plastic borders as well as engineered wood fibers safety surfacing were also installed by the volunteer players.
