Pacific Play Systems Installs Multiple Play Systems, Safety Surfacing, Site Furnishings, and More at Korean United Methodist Church
Pacific Play’s latest church playground project for the Korean United Methodist is its most recent project and one of several projects that Carlsbad company has recently completed in its local San Diego area, other recent projects include the new Walker Park playground for the City of San Diego, Frazier Park Apartments, YMCA In Encinitas and multiple new playgrounds for the Hunt Corporation at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA.
For the Korean United Methodist Church, Pacific Play has installed two new Playcraft play systems, new fencing around the play area, and new wood fibers surfacing. Both playgrounds were custom designed by Pacific Play and Playcraft designers, and feature a natural color scheme of green, tan, and brown. The larger of the two new playgrounds has been designed for children ages 5-12 and includes a large variety of play components such as 5′ and a 6′ “twister” slides, a 6′ “freeform” climber, pyramid rooftops, a “store” panel, a “memory” panel and more. The second playground has been designed for children ages 2-5 and features a “quarter turn” slide, a “straight” slide and a “spiral step” climber, among other components.
In addition to the playground equipment and site furnishings, the scope of work for this project also included extensive site work completed by Pacific Play and installed by American Parks Specialties. Site work included removal and hauling of existing grass, dirt, bushes, and part of a concrete sidewalk, as well as grading of the play area and installing new security fencing.
