Pacific Play Systems is a leading company in commercial playground equipment, design and installation, and is looking to add a market research analyst to our team in Carlsbad, CA. The Market Research Analyst researches and qualifies potential customer leads for the commercial playground equipment specifically in the southern area of California. The successful candidate for this role will prospect for potential customer leads using web-based tools and customer lists; research diverse geographical markets using Nelson data; develop tools to collect business relevant marketing information material from web-based resources; and perform industry and market analysis.

Draftsperson, Jr. Designer/Jr. Project Manager
Carlsbad distributor of commercial playground equipment is looking for a multi-task architectural or engineering draftsperson who can also work on creating new designs and assist with managing ongoing projects. Our work is design oriented with an emphasis on quality, service and integrity. This position offers a lot of upside for the right individual who is willing to be patient, stay with the company long term and benefit from its growth.
Self-starter, organized, motivated, multi-task individual with strong oral and writing skills
Background in architecture, design, engineering or construction management
Experience in sales and marketing (or desire to learn) is helpful but not necessary
Experience with Auto Cad, Photoshop, Excel, Word, internet navigation and email is helpful
Create designs using Auto CAD and Play Designer
Create plans for submittals to clients and permit agencies
Create proposals and estimates
Assist with management of ongoing projects
Meet with potential clients to pitch our products and services
Site visits, coordination with clients, subcontractors and vendors
Trouble shoot projects, negotiate with clients, vendors and subcontractors
The ideal candidate shall have a desire to contribute to company’s sales and marketing efforts and have the ability and confidence to meet with clients, make presentations, find out what their requirements are, make accurate site measurements and sketches, come up with designs and layouts, prepare proposals for clients and see them through until proposals become contracts.
Successful candidate must be a self-starter, capable of multi-tasking several projects at a time in a busy work environment, must be highly organized and motivated. Position requires some traveling within southern Cal to visit potential clients and projects under construction.
Starting base salary will include commission earned with sales generated by the candidate which can boost income substantially for the right individual.
